Clayton History Society
Memorial / Tribute Giving
Remember your loved ones with a unique gift!
There are many occasions when you want to say something special to a family member, friend or associate.
Not only is a gift to the Clayton History Society a lovely way to express sympathy for the loss of a special person,
it is also a wonderful way to commemorate happy occasions. You may even wish to make a contribution
instead of giving a traditional holiday gift.
Whatever the occasion, we will mail an acknowledgement to the designee of your choice, to let them know that
you've made a gift in their honor or their loved ones memory. (The amount of your gift will not be disclosed.)
The Clayton History Society relies on the support of individuals, families, and businesses to help
preserve the history of our community and to conduct a myriad of educational activities. The Clayton
History Society is a tax exempt charitable 501(c)(3) organization accepting memberships and donations to ensure
its success. Your generosity is appreciated and all donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law.
Here are some ways you can give to the Clayton History Society:
In Memoriam - Memorial donations are a meaningful
way to pay tribute and honor to the memory of a special relative, friend or colleague who has passed.
Congratulations - Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, graduation, retirement, or special achievement. This gift is
always the perfect size and the answer for someone who has everything.
In Appreciation - Say thank you to someone whose generous spirit has touched your life. A donation to the Clayton History Society is a wonderful way to express your gratitude and make a difference.
Invite others to make memorial contributions - This notice normally appears with the obituary in your
local paper using the suggested language: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made
to
Clayton History Society to benefit their mission and programs. Please send your gift to
Clayton History Society, c/o Sarah Umlauf, Center of Clayton, 50 Gay Avenue, Clayton MO 63105.
Charitable Bequest Gift - You can arrange to bequeath a donation to the Clayton History Society from your estate in several different ways. You can set
aside a specific dollar amount, leave a percentage of your estate, or leave any assets left over after your family has been provided for.
